Google Analytics “Multiple decimal separators in pattern” bug

Recently, while checking the e commerce overview on google analytics i got the message on some reports in red background.

Multiple decimal separators in pattern “Rs.###,##0.##”×

This is a bug in google analytics. The google analytics appends . after Rs symbol which causes some parsing problems on generating reports. The work around for it is to change your currency to $. Your revenue and reports will still be in Rs. and figures will not change, it will simply append $ instead of Rs. You can change the currency by editing the profile of Google Analytics.

Hope this will save time for someone.
