Color is like a beatbox. It is an ever changing target which needs to be chalked out every now and then. In reference to my market study, the first thing to note was that the consumer sensibilities around color have hoisted to an all time high, reason being malls, multi-brand outlets, media consumption and online shopping.
As the project is based on creating an editorial content for a blog, a much needed search was required as to check, the scope the content might have, whether or not such initiative has been taken before,how and in what mediums and formats has this kind of a research been done or executed earlier, basically to snoop about its history.
Majority of the websites dealing with the development of creative content like design, architecture, fashion, textiles, color, art and movies even accept color being the deal breaker in every design situation. As a designer, it’s important to understand the psychological effects colors might have on an average person, or a company’s target audience.
